No - ZeroOne is committed to preventing fraud and ensuring guests receive the digital products they pay for. To fulfill this commitment ZeroOne deploys advanced technology to validate orders and ensure bad actors are not empowered to commit fraudulent transactions using stolen credit cards or marketplace accounts.
In many cases, fraudsters will purchase digital products using stolen credit cards and identities draining the cardholders' savings entirely. Weeks later, the cardholder will notice the charge and begin the dispute process - leaving the vendors and victim with losses while the fraudster profits, incentivized to continue purchasing using stolen information.
During this fraud screening process, guests may be escalated for additional screening. However, these reviews are typically completed within an hour or less.
I have data concerns, what else will the data be used for?
ID information entered during the fraud screening process will be used to validate the order and ensure the safe distribution of the guests' digital products. Information and data submitted via this process will not be shared or transferred.
