Now that we've created a message template, we'll assign a template to our products. There are three main messages you can assign:
- Email Message
- Integration Inbox Message (eBay, MercardoLibre)
- Grant Access Message
We'll first start with the email and inbox message, this is the message sent to guests when an order is placed in the integration inbox or email.
This message will be assigned to each product individually. To add a template to your product, navigate to:
- Select the integration with the products you'd like to assign a message template to, I've selected eBay
- Select the product you'd like to assign the message template to, press Action, and Edit.
- You'll now see that product information pulled from the integration
- To assign an email message, press Email Message
- You can now select the Message Template you created earlier, assigning the template to the product.
- Press the checkmark in the right corner to save your changes
- Next, we will do the same with Inbox messages, this is only available to eBay and MercardoLibre. Press eBay Message
- Select your message template, be sure this is a message template without HTML, then press the checkmark to save the template to that product.
- Guests will receive your message through eBay or MercardoLibre message center immediately after purchase
Grant access message
- The last message you can assign is the grant access message. This is a message that is resent if you choose to override fraud screening and grant the guest access to his or her purchase. To adjust the grant access message, go to Products > All.
- Select a Product, press Action
- You'll now see all that product's option
- Press Granted Access Message, you'll now be able to assign a template to the grant access message. This is the message a guest will receive once they've been approved through fraud screening or a vendor presses grant access, bypassing fraud screening.
- Press the checkmark to save the template to that product.
